◎简 介
天下列国忽然出现黄金大量流失的现象，而黄金的黑市买卖却非常兴盛。英国情报部思疑天下巨富金手指介入了黑市黄金买卖，他在日内瓦具有一座大银行，列国都有大量黄金储备在那边。007邦德（肖恩?康纳利 Sean Connery 饰）起头展开对金手指的观察。
邦德一路跟踪金手指到了日内瓦，发现了他往外运黄金的奥秘，他经过用黄金造车身的方式重熔获得金块。邦德被金手指的手下发现了，他们捉住了邦德。邦德在意外中还得知了金手指行将实施的一个惊天计划：他策划用飞机流传毒气使银行的驻军灭亡，然后炸开银行，操纵一枚小型核弹致使天下列国保存的黄金遭到辐射净化而不能进入畅通，这样黑市的黄金买卖将获得十倍以上的巨额利润！邦德虽然得知了金手指的全盘计划，可是人在牢中，没法告诉外界。终极金手指的诡计能否得逞？
