一天早晨，正在洗澡的朱利安（迈克·沃格尔 Mike Vogel饰）忽然接到好朋友特里（丹尼尔·平诺 Daniel Pino饰）的电话。电话那头的特里，气急废弛地称他的未婚妻琼（布莱特妮·墨菲 Brittany Murphy饰）对自己不忠。特里跟踪琼来到一间陈旧不胜的“江景”小旅店，并目击了她与私会的汉子走进了507房间。狂躁不安的特里告诉朱利安他在旅店大堂劈面的508房间等他，并已经带好左轮手枪预备实施报复计划。朱利安死力劝说特里不要糊弄，他也立即动身前往旅店。但是匪夷所思的工作发生了，特里居然看到和自己未婚妻约会的人正是朱利安。
由亚历克斯·梅金执导的犯罪悬疑影片《旅店大堂劈面》，按照他在2005年导演的同名黑色惊悚短片改编而成。
