◎简 介
本片是描写西班牙的一位豪杰——卢利哥．狄亚斯（查尔顿．赫斯登饰）的平生履历的史诗古装片。故事布景是在1180年的西班牙，那时辰西班牙还是三个割裂的小国，之间互无干扰，只因其中的卢利哥伯爵违反了卡斯提尔国王的号令，开释摩尔人的酋长而被称之为叛逆，引发抵触。他误杀了未婚妻的父亲，引来别的一个王国前来争取城池的属权，幸亏卢利哥奋勇战役才能保全国土完整。未几国王归天，两位皇子也来争取帝位，最初桑乔被刺，卢强逼艾立誓没有刺杀桑，而获咎新王被判毕生放逐，却引来非洲摩尔人的入侵。卢利哥获得部属的拥护出头抵抗，并带领各部诸候配合剿杀前来加害的回教雄师，取告捷利，并获得未婚妻（索菲亚．罗兰饰）的谅解。
