◎简 介
捷克是个无牢固职业的自在人，全日过着无忧无虑安闲的生活。
但是他已经拖欠了银行6个月的衡宇存款，银行向他下了最初通牒，要求他立即还清存款，否则要拍卖他的屋子。就要无家可归的捷克，只好起头处处寻觅工作。捷克是个自在撰稿人，但由于他的职位低微又是黑人，他的才能无处发挥，费尽一番周折，终究找到了一份清洁工的工作。
捷克是个活跃开畅的家伙，在工作时总是一边听着音乐，一边自言自语，还把手中的清洁工具耍来耍去。正巧老板的儿子埃瑞克到商铺里挑选玩具，感觉捷克非常风趣，想把他看成玩具带抵家中。
埃瑞克是个蛮横任性的孩子，他的爸爸工作忙碌没偶然候陪伴在埃瑞克身旁，只好用金钱填补对他的关爱，他可以不惜任何价格满足孩子的一切要求。
为了让埃瑞克有个愉快的假期生活，老板付给了捷克很多钱，让他陪伴埃瑞克身旁，陪他顽耍。捷克虽然感觉很荒谬，自己居然酿成了一个玩偶，但为了早日的还清存款，还是委曲的接管了这份工作。
捷克被放到了一个大箱子中，向礼物一样送到了埃瑞克的家中。埃瑞克兴奋不已，把他带到了自己的玩具房中，成了这里的一员。埃瑞克总是捉弄捷克，在这里的生活他没有庄严可言。他再也忍受不了这样的欺侮，决议分开，去寻觅其他的法子还存款。
捷克走后，调皮的小家伙埃瑞克非常驰念他，再次把捷克接抵家中。捷克从孩子的眼中看到了他对朋友的渴望，告诉他朋友是用爱和信赖换来的，埃瑞克也试图尽力的改变着自己，他向捷克诉说，自己心中的想法，两人相处的很愉快。
捷克希望埃瑞克的这个假期过的加倍成心义，他起头发挥他的才能，教埃瑞克若何办报纸，他们起头采访家中的每一小我，停止取材、编辑、设想、印刷等工作。经过两人的配合尽力，成功的做成了一份报纸。
埃瑞克度过了一个愉快、成心义的假期，也从中体味到了友谊和亲情带给他的快了。捷克不但还清了存款，还获得了一份报社工作。
