简 介
德国人玛丽娅（汉娜·许古拉 Hanna Schygulla饰）和赫尔曼（克劳斯·洛维斯奇Klaus L?witsch饰）的婚姻在浊世中必定了动乱飘飖。在赫尔曼上疆场以后，玛丽娅等待丈夫返来的心从焦虑变成失望，德国败北，赫尔曼大要也在火线牺牲了，玛丽娅只好嫁给了一个黑人军官比尔（格雷戈·伊格斯Greg Eagles饰）。但是，在玛丽娅的心中，赫尔曼永久是没法抹去的至爱。
奇迹发生了，赫尔曼竟是没死，他的返来激发了和比尔之间的决战。忙乱中玛丽娅举起凶器，杀死了比尔。这项谋杀罪赫尔曼自愿顶了下来，赫尔曼的入狱，令玛丽娅再一次堕入了无尽的期待。
巨贾奥斯瓦尔德（伊凡·德斯尼 Ivan Desny饰）对玛丽娅照顾有加。她不但具有了自己的奇迹，还由于和奥斯瓦尔德一路而获得了安宁的生活。虽然如此，狱中的赫尔曼始终让她悬念，玛丽娅和奥斯瓦尔德之间告竣了一项协议……
