简 介
在春季的佛罗里达海滩上，诞生了一只小海龟（菲比 饰）。她生来就没有母亲照顾，也几近没有防御才能，但却有一股微弱的求买卖志。尽力爬超出数十公尺远的沙滩后，小海龟终究纵身跃入了海里，自此展开一趟已延续了数百万年的生命之旅。
彷彿天生就装了罗盘和舆图，小海龟果断地一路朝向目标地──非洲的亚速尔群岛进步。幼小又怯懦的她，却只敢和小鱼群窝在海草里，她想藉着墨西哥湾洋流，载她前往梦幻的国家－大西洋。没想到这路上诸多坎坷：她曾因过度饥饿，误食了飘浮的塑料袋，也一度遭到加拿大巨浪卷走，她更碰见过凶悍的大青鲨，所幸大青鲨并没进犯她，两人并深信未来将会有重逢的一天。
在翱翔了七千千米后，小海龟也渐渐长大了。六岁的她，不单如愿来到了亚速尔群岛海域，也熟悉了很多新朋友，更意外和已怀孕、变得温柔了很多的大青鲨重逢，使她的观光变得更丰收。悠游了十多年后，小海龟却决议要重新游回她的诞生地－佛罗里达海滩。总计费时25年游遍全部大西洋的她，为什么一定要回游呢？她又背负着什么样的崇高使命呢？而这趟总长有一万多千米的观光，在最初的四千千米中，又会发生哪些不成思议的事呢？《在海里翱翔》将告诉你一个从不为人知、却布满了无穷勇气和传奇的动人故事…
