简 介
居住在新泽西的黑帮杀手“鬼狗”（Forest Whitaker弗雷斯特?惠特克 饰）身为非裔，却浸淫在日本军人道的精神天下里，“忠义”为其生平最高信条。他深居简出，一本端庄，平常与老迈靠飞鸽传书联系。鬼狗视老亨衢易（John Tormey 饰）如亲生父亲，接到号令后决不手软，手起刀落，血浆四溅。
孤独的他也有可以谈心的朋友，闲暇时与公园买冰淇淋说法语的非裔聊聊天，各说各话，却也风趣；或与爱看书的小女孩交换品读《罗生门》的心得。
鬼狗活在自己的天下里，但方圆已发生庞大变化。终究有一天，他被路易抛弃，成为帮派排挤的牺牲品……
