《拉斯维加斯：真人真事》的导演是伊朗人阿米尔·纳德利。他近20年来一直住在美国。本片里他尝试用经常在艺术片里使用的中长距离拍摄手法来讲述一个非常通俗非常白烂的商业故事。一旦观众捱过电影开头的几分钟，熟悉了影片的拍摄手法，那么他们就会发现，这个故事还是很好看的。
《拉斯维加斯》一片的商业操作手法能给很多人上一课：这部影片主题相当美国化，也就是说，相当通俗；同时采用了实验式中距离拍摄手法。
