◎简　　介

　　本片按照雾社事务史实改编。
　　1895年，《马关公约》割让台湾以后，日本遂即武力接收台湾，宝岛各地纷纷被攻破。而台湾山区因门路欠亨，原居民生活尚暂未受影响，雾社地域的赛德克人当中，马赫坡年轻一代的莫那鲁道（游大庆 饰）勇敢过人，率族群与甘卓万人争斗不休。日人垂涎雾社地域的 丰富资本，试图染指但遭到赛德克人激烈抵抗，伤亡惨重，然终究借原居民族群之间的相互仇杀侵入了雾社。莫那鲁道只得忍辱投诚，但心中的火苗从未熄灭。时候推至1930年，日本对于雾社原居民的“文化革新”历经多年，日语等所谓文化并未赐与原居民同等的生活，日人的逼迫和繁重劳作腐蚀着赛德克人的传统和庄严，多年的愤慨积累，终究在这一年周全喷发！
