◎简　　介　

　　1969年7月20日，乘坐着阿波罗11号的美国人尼尔·阿姆斯特朗成功登陆月球，迈出对人类来说具有重要意义的一大步。与此同时，资深宇航员吉姆·洛维尔（汤姆·汉克斯 Tom Hanks 饰）和亲人好友们经过电视亲近关注着这历史性的一刻。吉姆曾乘坐阿波罗8号飞到月球四周，他一样希望在有生之年实现登陆月球的胡想。这个时辰很快到临，就在3个月后，吉姆被录用为阿波罗13号的批示官，他将连朋友伴佛瑞·德汉斯（比尔·帕克斯顿 Bill Paxton 饰）、杰克·史威吉特（凯文·贝肯 Kevin Bacon 饰）再次升空前往月球。他们满怀着希望，却没想到有无穷的磨难等在前方……
