　　一年一度的圣诞节再次到来，加拿大一幢由民宅改建的校外女子宿舍中，芭布（Margot Kidder 饰）、菲利丝（Andrea Martin 饰）、杰西卡（Olivia Hussey 饰）、克莱尔（Lynne Griffin 饰）等几名青春靓丽的女孩正为各自的假期作筹算。忽然，一通奥秘的电话打破了这欢乐的氛围。性情鲁莽的芭布斥责电话另一头的汉子，而汉子则留下“未来杀死你们”的可骇话语。当晚，克莱尔在房间内被人残暴杀戮。克莱尔的死令宿舍的姐妹们既悲伤又恐惧，但是警方却将精神集合在另一位13岁女孩的失落案上，对克莱尔之死未赐与太多关注。在接下来的一段时候内，舍监麦克夫人（Marian Waldman 饰）随即遇害，而监犯居然久长以来居住在这所屋子当中。一段隐藏多年的昏暗血腥的曩昔随之渐渐显现……
