　　在一个狂风雨交集的日子，克莱尔（瑞妮·维尔纳 Renee Willner 饰）带着男友保罗（丹尼·艾尔德 Danny Alder 饰）驱车回到阔别19个月的家中。她的家位于一处偏僻地点，四周罕有人烟，静谧很是，但是宁静之外似乎带着一丝不祥的气味。此时克莱尔的奶奶年龄已高，去日无多。一个月前，她曾收到奶奶寄来的骨灰盒，并叮嘱她妥帖保管，这也令克莱尔困惑不解。夜幕来临，狂风高文。窗外忽然传来阵阵使民气悸的尖叫。就在这时，一个描述可骇的女人忽然出现在克莱尔的家中。一切似乎就此堕入紊乱，保罗被杀，奶奶失落，可骇的恶运正宿命般地向他们袭来……
