　　哈佛消息系门生马特（Elijah Wood 饰）由于舍友在他的衣柜里藏毒，被校方解雇，无助的马特没法联系远在喀布尔的父亲，只好打包投靠伦敦的姐姐。
　　姐夫斯蒂夫态度很不友爱，把马特塞给了弟弟皮特（Charlie Hunnam 饰），皮特是西汉姆联队球迷构造GSE的魁首，他很快让美国佬马特见识了英国球迷的热血，马特体内的懦弱陪伴着他挥向敌对球迷的拳头消失了，皮特让他逐步融入这布满啤酒跟暴力的情况。
　　GSE成员包瓦为人极端，始终对马特怀有敌意，当他发现马特以及马特的父亲都与球迷构造最为厌恶的记者身份有关联时，不惜一切价格要驱逐马特。而此时，马特正惊奇的发现姐夫是GSE前任魁首，在酒馆外，一场球迷间的暴力抵触正在酝酿……
