◎简　　介　

　　1916年，第一次天下大战的欧洲疆场显现出胶着状态，来自澳洲的伍德沃德中尉（布伦丹·考威尔 Brendan Cowell 饰）在昏暗的地道中接收了一支爆破军队。18个月之前，伍德沃德尚阔别疆场，在巴布亚处置矿场爆破工作，同时与年幼的女友渐渐建立了关系……随着战事的推动，伍德沃德响应号令，凭仗本身的爆破特长加入军队赶赴欧洲。伍德沃德开初的表示未令部属们服气，但在成功炸毁德国人的机枪阵地后，伍德沃德和战友们一路被派往位于比利时的“60阵地”，那边是一处令协约国兵士闻之色变的德军阵地，大祖传闻60阵地前协约国的战壕中洒满了鲜血。伍德沃德一行人到达目标地，发现战友们已在60阵地下的地道中安插了百万磅炸药，但是引爆的时候迟迟未能肯定……
