　　【剧情简介】1950年11月，美军冲过三八线追击溃失利朝鲜军队的美军水兵陆战队第一师和第七步卒师，在中朝边境打击清津水库地域时，遭到中国群众自愿军上风军力的狠恶还击，堕入中朝军队的重围当中。美军总手命令周全退却。美军水兵陆战队史姑娘将军却公然违背总部号令，命令手下还击中朝军队。水兵陆战队斯提夫上尉率领一个营担任保护使命，经过浴血苦战，终究和主力军队一路冲出对方的包围圈。
　　影评界以为这部影片是正面描写朝鲜战争双方的少有影片之一。它一方面以正面手法再现了中国群众自愿军入朝早期排山倒海的还击范围，同时也称道了美军水兵陆战队顽强作战的斗志。影片中一个美军下士，刚满17岁，可是在一次夜战中身负三处枪伤的情况下苦守阵地，保证了主峰的平安。该片的别的一个怪异之处是大量利用疆场实地拍摄的记录片片断。当炮弹在镜头里爆炸时，摄影机剧烈发抖，使观众有如临其境之感。
