◎简　　介　

　　娜塔莉（伊莎贝尔·于佩尔 Isabelle Huppert 饰）是一位大学教员，在黉舍里教授哲学课程，和丈夫汉斯（安德烈·马孔 André Marcon 饰）成婚数十年，两人配合哺育了两个孩子，日子过得安静而完竣。某日，汉斯忽然和娜塔莉率直，自己在里面有了情人，不但如此，他还筹算从家里搬进来和情人同居，虽然娜塔莉概况故作镇静，但心里却蒙受了激烈的冲击。
　　娜塔莉的母亲（爱迪丝·斯考博 Edith Scob 饰）曾是一位当红模特，现在却饱受烦闷症的困扰，接二连三自杀得逞，无法之下，娜塔莉只得违反了母亲的志愿，将她送进了养老院。与此同时，娜塔莉已经的门生法比安（罗曼·科兰卡 Roman Kolinka 饰）出现在了娜塔莉的眼前，他和洽友们筹算建造一个哲学网站，想约请娜塔莉做他们的顾问。
