简　　介

　　女演员丽贝卡（朱莉安 摩尔Julianne Moore饰）和洽友伊莱恩（玛姬 葛伦霍 Maggie Gyllenhaal饰）各自的豪情，似乎都说了然汉子不成信。丽贝卡有一本性欲兴旺在家待业的丈夫汤姆（大卫 杜契尼 David Duchovny饰），不外丈夫在婚姻中得不到性生活的满足，令他在里面的天下变得不胜一击。自从碰到孩子同学的母亲后，二人就如同干柴猛火走到一路；而丽贝卡，一边为失利的婚仪倍感解体，一边亦面临着年轻小生的倾慕。
伊莱恩是个作家，对婚姻大事很是忧心。她八年来的男朋友——丽贝卡的弟弟托比（比利·克鲁德普Billy Crudup 饰），历来不把成婚放在日程内外，她没法忍受指日可待的期待，因而挑选分手。而托比，亦和他的前度情人打得炽热，在落空伊莱恩以后，他才渐渐体味到她的无可替换。
这两段豪情，看来已经千疮百孔了，丽贝卡和伊莱恩该就此罢休，还是还有起色……
