　　吉祥赌坊掌管人何莉莉下嫁与岳华，婚后岳说出赌博之害，及“以赌制赌”之志愿。何受岳所劝，公布破产，谁料却肇事上身……
　　军阀混战的年月，地方恶霸豪强田主勾结官府开设赌坊，专门诱使一些有着侥幸心理和做发家梦的赌徒沉迷其中，成果弄得流浪失所，悔不妥初。一对青梅竹马的情侣，他们两人的家庭都是以经营赌坊谋生的。吉祥赌坊掌管人何莉莉下嫁与岳华，男人在江湖上流散过一段时候，翻然觉悟，熟悉到赌博对人的迫害感化，他奋发练就一手精湛的赌术。岳华告诉何莉莉，他决心以赌制赌，请一切骗人的人自作自受。何莉莉接管岳华所劝，公布破产。这男人与女人面临的赌坊郎中都是一帮有权有势的恶势力，两小我绝不妥协，经过不平不挠的斗争，终究在一场浴血战役中，大方牺牲。两人的鲜血使众多赌徒猛醒。
