　　为了丈夫的胡想，妻子压服爷爷带着孩子，离别熟悉安静的小岛，举家迁往远方的小镇。一路上，他们途经长崎、大阪、东京等地，城市里的一切是如此新颖而刺激，同时也令他们感应陌生而冷酷。当他们满怀胡想，向往着美好的未来时，命运却和他们开了玩笑：心爱的小女儿在途中病逝，爷爷也在到达小镇后未几归天了。冬季的小镇白雪皑皑，冰冷而忧伤。他们旁皇无助，意气消沉，但村民的热情和关心重新燃起了他们生活的希望。他们盼望着，盼望着冰雪消融，盼望着春季的来到。六月，春季终究到了，青绿的牧场，新生的生命，一切似乎姗姗来迟却使人欣喜心醉、难以忘记。
