　　曾凭仗《那年我学开车》（How I learned to drive）获得普利策奖的女剧作家宝拉?沃格尔（Paula Vogel）再接再砺，献上新作《伤风败俗》（Indecent）。该剧在外百老汇收获无数好评后转到百老汇上演并几度加演，在柯尔特剧院持续表演128场，这也是65岁的沃格尔期待已久的百老汇首演。
　　重返历史上一部与百老汇发生道德交锋的剧作，一部不会由于不公审判而消失的剧作，《伤风败俗》的灵感来历于1923年《复仇之神》（God of Vengeance）在百老汇上演前后的实在故事，报告了在艺术、自在与信仰危机的时代，这部带有分歧时宜的恋爱的佳构与它的创作者们辗转大洋两岸的波动遭际。导演瑞贝卡?泰赫曼（Rebecca Taichman）在编排上独具匠心，变更为数不多的演员不竭变更脚色，又在形式上吸收了很多传统犹太传统戏剧（Yiddish Theatre）的特点，加入了丰富的歌舞。
