　　班宁（杰拉德·巴特勒 Gerard Butler 饰）是美国特勤局的奸细，比来，他接到了一个重要的使命，那就是联手局长琳（安吉拉·贝塞特 Angela Bassett 饰），护送总统本杰明（艾伦·艾克哈特 Aaron Eckhart 饰）前往伦敦圣保罗教堂，加入英国辅弼的葬礼。
　　英国辅弼死得蹊跷，班宁和琳晓得，他们的路程一定遭到了犯警份子的亲近关注，与此同时，在葬礼上，列国领袖均有列席，伦敦这座富贵靓丽的城市霎时候成为了天下关注的焦点。果不其然，刺客们潜伏在暗处期待着机会，国家带领人频频遭到伏击，伦敦地标修建亦不能幸免于难，整座城市堕入了紊乱和瘫痪当中。而对于班宁来说，最要紧的使命，即是护送总统，回到国内。
