　　武士权三在藩内享有“枪圣”的威名，更因相貌英俊颇受众女性爱慕。武士伴之丞始终要同权三一争高下，然而在和平时代，众武士只求藩主继承人顺利出生好保留自身武士身份得过且过。权三与伴之丞这样的一流高手无用武之地，只能借为藩主庆贺的大典上通过争较茶道“真台子”资格分出高低。
　　
　　两人的茶道师母彩（岩下志麻 饰）属意权三，于三更时分将真台子奥义倾授权三，不料伴之丞抢得两人腰带作为通奸证据。权三与彩虽无实事，但在彩的一再要求下连夜奔逃。一路上权三始终无法全意接受彩的示爱，同时师父市之进与彩亲弟甚平组成的追杀队伍亦步步紧逼，一对儿亡命伴侣将何去何从？
